Interact Club of Oak Bay is selling subscriptions for the 2016 Canada Flag Program to support “local” and “international” services projects. The Interact Club will receive a commission of $10.00 for every subscription sold. The Canada Flag Program is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oak Bay and has been operating since 2013. Last year the program had more than 250 flag subscribers and the target for this year is 325.

Flag subscribers pay an annual fee of $50.00. The Rotary Club of Oak Bay delivers flags to subscribers for three long week-ends: Victoria Day (May 19th to 24th); Canada Day (June 30th to July 5th); and Labour Day (September 1st to 6th).

The Interact Club of Oak Bay is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oak Bay and is celebrating 25 years of community service. Interact is for young people ages 12 to 18 and every club carries out two service projects per year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.
